About the Initiative

Experience Varanasi was started in 2014 by a group of travel professionals driven by passion to innovate, enhance and offer superior quality tourism products to travelers visiting Varanasi. We try to find out what our Guests are actually looking for during their tour, and customize the itinerary accordingly. It's a blend of information, recreation and entertainment. We focus that our Guests acclimatize with the local culture and experience Varanasi in its true sense.
 
Our founder Kunal, an ek-banker by profession started working as a freelance Tour Guide out of his passion since 2012 and came across several travelers who wanted to have an offbeat experience of Varanasi, something beyond the regular sightseeing. This was the inception of Experience Varanasi. After completing his MBA from the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, he worked with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank on various profiles. Kunal even worked as a Product Manager for Cox & Kings Inbound Tours.
 
Born and brought up in Varanasi, Kunal grew up in the city imbibing the essence of the local culture and has undergone all the guide training programs conducted in india. His contribution for promoting tourism in Uttar Pradesh has been recognized by the Honorable Chief Minister Sri Yogi Adityanath Ji.
 
We have recently started offering selected tailor-made itineraries across north India after an overwhelming response from all stakeholders like our Esteemed Guests, the Destination Management Companies, Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, all our Vendors & our Team (we thank them all). We will soon come up with a new brand offering private guided tours all over India.
